A SHINY NEW SUGGESTION BOX ~ALWAYS OPEN~

Hello everyone!


I'm making this journal simply because over the years I've gotten a couple fun suggestions via notes, from randoms or friends about what they might be interested in seeing from me! From pics featuring my characters, to fan art, to anything and everything that piques the mind - You say 'em and I display 'em!


I've also had a few peeps ask me if I'd ever have an open request zone again and I'm like "Sure, why not?"


Making a request is super easy, but before you do so I need to make sure you know how to read - So all you have to do is:

  1. Watch me! Watching is the most leisurely way to keep up with all of my art posts, and easily see whether or not your request is on the horizon!

  2. Comment on the journal of course! Remember to post visual references so I know what you're talking about!

What I'm willing to draw:

  1. Asking for pics of my characters has the most priority! Anything I haven't tried before at all, or something that you think would work for so-and-so will likely have my attention the most!

  2. You are welcome to ask if I draw your characters! I love seeing what kinds of cool characters are out there, whether they're from a fan-made world or an original of their own!

  3. fan art of something from an existing franchise! It's not something I see myself filling my gallery with, but every once in a blue moon I do get a feeling to make something pretty nice!

What I may NOT interested in doing:

  1. Anything that potentially breaks Terms of Service. Nothing hateful or extremely explicit. Suggestive poses and situations is fine, but you're not about to ask me for hardcore adultery or extreme gore. You should know better, and I shouldn't have to remind you of such.

  2. Excessively detailed characters - From time to time, I love drawing a lot more detail than I'm used to. Funky patterns, elaborate trims, all kinds of accessories and things!... At the same time I more-or-less just wanna keep the line moving. If I have to simplify a design in some areas I'd rather do that than be stuck on something potentially forever. The same applies to extensively detailed backgrounds.

  3. Comics and Sequences. It's just a lot to do, drawing these as to why I may not do them much or ever. Sending me these requests are likely to be ignored, but not forgotten.


Picking which suggestion is dependent on mood, and I'm not going to reply which request I'll take to keep the element of surprise. Just try not to pester me about it - Just because it's a suggestion box does not mean I am obligated to uphold these.

I've had peeps asking me about having an active Super Mario-themed group for all the royalty out there - The princesses, the princes, and everything else in the middle~


Keeping it short, sweet, and to the point, since I'm not really up to anything on my chilly winter weekend~ Our first major group event kicks off on January 1st! Our grand opening!

Sketch Trades ~ OPEN

Hi everyone! I'm still doing my best to get better from the dankness in my life, and I think it would be a nice idea to open sketch trades to try and push myself artistically for the moment!



Rules/preferences

1. Anyone is welcome to trade with me, regardless of skill level!
2. I'll contact you if I'm interested in trading with you~ To anyone not chosen please don't be discouraged if I don't pick you, there'll always be more trades open in the future!
3. You can suggest as many characters as you want to me, but I'm only willing to draw one character per person. I'd also prefer if they were a bit on the simple side~
4. I'll only post my part of the trade after you've posted yours. Please don't pester me about when your trade will be finished, I will do my best to finish them quickly!
5. Will tackle trades 3 at a time, seems pretty reasonable as to not overwhelm myself.

I don't have a lot to say - I'm not the kind of person to "celebrate" things a lot, but I figure I do it today because it's okay to enjoy myself like this.

When I first joined DA I only had very little in mind and I didn't know what to do with myself, but at the time my friends said that I should draw or post things that I enjoy. Over the years I've slightly been learning and growing as a hobbyist, slowly getting better and making new friends in the process. I've been having my fair share of joy and sorrow on this dank art adventure of my life, and I never want to stop for the world! I can't thank you enough for all the watches, faves, and comments - I hope you'll continue to support me now and in the future~!

Facts About My Characters! + Ask Me!

So as promised a century later, I wanted to write a fact journal about my characters. It took me longer than I wanted because I didn't have a lot to share or talk about to begin with, which is why I'm also having a section where you may ask me about them down below! I tried to come up with at least 3 or more things about my characters, but if not I've included a spot for any other extra tidbits that couldn't really be sorted. Now, let's get this show on the road!

Bullet; Red CASSHERN Bullet; Red

1. When I was 13 it was when I first drew a personafication of myself. Although the Casshern today is way different from the one way back when, over time I grew fond of this dank character.
2. Casshern originally came from my dislike of "personas", because at the time I didn't really understand why people made or liked them. Even today I still feel like the concept is just not for me to the point where I resent even my own persona, but I still doodle this little goblin bum when I can~
3. The hypnotic eyes that current-day Casshern has comes from a want to make others listen to me, because my gosh it seems like I talk to the dumbest people offline! "Communication shouldn't be this hard!" I yell in thought.

Bullet; Green ALRAUNE Bullet; Green

1. Alraune's early concepts where first human - They're long gone now because my older computer is dead af, but some of these concepts had her with somewhat longer hair and ears! The more plant-like Alraune came in halfway into development, and not wanting to trash these ideas entirely I gave her the shapeshifting pendant.
2. Our weedy princess' personality originates mostly from feelings and experiences I was going through at the time - Going through struggles of accepting myself for who I am and the family I'm from, Alraune has been a conduit that's served me well through the ages and I can say this character has helped me find a place in life.
3. Alraune is the only royal of mine without any family-inherited magics.

Bullet; Pink LILLIANNE Bullet; Pink

1. Lillianne originally started as a troll character of sorts due to my resentment of the Mario "Princess" part of the fanbase. Although things are different with her now, part of me almost misses the hilarity that stemed from this feisty flower.
2. There were times I thought about giving Lillianne a weapon - Swords, wands, or even a hammer - At the end of the day however, my fickle attitude holds her back from getting one.
3. Lillianne currently has the most when it comes to worldbuilding - A castle, a kingdom, her people and personality. She's got a few other things in the works if I ever get off of my lazy butt about it... *snickers*
4. Lillianne's alignment was made evil and her inner feelings destructive mainly because I've seen a lot of pink princess characters around be all "Sugar, Spice, Everything Nice". Although it feels albiet sour of me to do it, the fact that she's a more sinister kind of princess sets her apart from the more petite pink peers~

Bullet; Purple CHELISE Bullet; Purple

1. Chelise's inspiration originally came from other artists who would "racebend" characters like Mario, Peach, Rosalina etc. and I'm sitting here like "Yeah how about instead of doing that I just make a fan-character out of the concept you nerds" and thus, this princess came to be.
2. I didn't think a lot about Chelise when working on her initially - She was just made as eye candy to appeal to me an nothing more, but after doing some worldbuilding and giving her a bio, I think it's been pretty nice to have a character with personality to look at hahaha...
3. This girl was originally going to be in a ship with one of the canon Mario characters, but I withdrew the idea to work on something that's more important (like worldbuilding). As to who she would've been shipped with, I'll leave that to your imaginations.
4. In her concept phase Chelise's name was under the project name "Iris". I kept this name through the whole process until thinking that her name should be "Cerise" for the shade of pink dress she wore at the time, then close to the end I thought of "Cherish" due to how much I was thinking up for her. I ultimately chose "Chelise" before posting because it felt like something unique to me that could carry some essance of the previous names I was figuring out.
5. The idea of this girls Kingdom stems from the way old Super Mario Bros. film, what with a meteor crashing upon the planet and creating an alternate universe of some kind and crystals being some kind of magical macguffin. The idea is still being tweaked a bit to fit my liking.

Bullet; Black OTHER CHARACTERS WITH MAYBE ONE THING ABOUT THEM Bullet; Black

1. Before I adopted this character, Nara was bundled with a well established history and world that I've kept a majority of details at my disposal~ Her soft-hearted personality and her kingdom is very much intact despite some minor changes, but has been starting fresh in a sort of "Alternate Timeline" type of route.
2. Shy-Onna is heavily based on the Yuki-Onna, an icy woman in Japanese mythology. From the design and info in her bio, the snowy mountains she lives up in, and her current demeanor are key pointers to what she's based on.

So now maybe you've learned something new, and if not then I'm open for Q&A's about any of my characters! Ask about my art or maybe even -gasp- me if that's fancy for you! You may ask me as many questions as you want, I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can!
